Tailoring a resume to a specific job takes twenty to forty minutes done properly: rereading the posting, deciding which accomplishments to lead with, rewording bullets so they speak the posting's language. Most people skip it, apply with one generic resume everywhere, and then wonder why they don't hear back.

The tools that promise to speed this up mostly work the same way: they read your resume and the job posting, and generate something that sounds like a better fit. Some of it is real rephrasing. Some of it is quietly invented: a metric that got rounded up, a responsibility that got upgraded to a title, a skill that got added because the posting mentioned it. You don't find out until an interviewer asks you to walk through it.

A structured profile, not a resume file

We don't treat your resume as the thing we optimize. We treat it as one snapshot of something larger: a structured record of your actual career, covering every role, every bullet, every skill, even what wouldn't fit on one page. Tailoring then becomes a question of selection: which pieces of your real history best answer this particular posting. Never invention.

The honesty guarantee

This is enforced in code, not just asked of the model nicely. Every tailored bullet carries the ID of the profile bullet it came from. A bullet without a valid source is rejected and regenerated. Every number in a tailored resume is checked against your profile; anything that doesn't already exist there doesn't ship. The diff between your original and tailored resume is shown by default, not hidden behind a click you have to know to make.

It's slower to build a product this way than to let a model optimize freely for whatever sounds most convincing. We think it's the only version of this that's actually safe to send to a real employer.
